Time for more Punisher! This volume is very comic booky, and has some rather strange moments; but it's still a fun read nevertheless. Tonight it's the Punisher versus the Russian: Round Two!

What goes around...
>>78306011
Nice, storytiming Dan Dare anyhow
>>78306086
This board can always use more Ennis.
>>78306147
My Section Eight storytime is still up for some reason haha.
How's the weekend?
Damn.
>>78306184
Make all current threads Ennis related.
Alrighty. I just got home.
Oh.
>>78306220
Anymore and it might be an epidemic
Cool.
Would you like to see another live action Russian?
>>78306306
I think it'd be funny. People might freak out.
I wouldn't mind. He could be a minor villain.
>>78306372
Some one started a Max Bemis thread today, thankfully it didn't take off.
That's true. Although...the Mennonite wouldn't be too shabby either.
Feeling's mutual.
>>78306405
It's for the best.
He might be more believable, but totally bizarre. But both would add some variety to the standard thugs, and mobsters he usually faces.
He is a canon big guy.
>>78306471
Don't need more bad publicity.
Yeah, just one offs that add a bit more jazz.
>>78306551
It depends on what kind of route they want to take with a new live-action Punisher. MAX or a more Marvel Knights feel.
>>78306489uuuu
>>78306593
I think that a Marvel Knights feel would be best.
Just to not stagnate out there.
>>78306612
Could work. Jessica Jones or DD didn't seem too zany. I can't imagine a Punisher series being any different.
They really are.
>>78306709
I don't think maybe being one or two standard deviations away would be a detriment
Are there any good cops left?
>>78306847
That's true.
What do you think about a female Russian? Might be fun to see Frank get smashed by a burly woman.
>>78306914
That'd only work like any Russian scene would be - if he's just as amazingly outmatched Kevin Nash style
>>78306949
She'd be tall, thick and muscular. With big knockers too.
From the prior thread
>>78305861
It was released after MAX, but they're separate continuities so that don't take place "before" or "after" each other.
>>78306665
>I dunno about that
>the social worker lady from Slavers is in Marvel Knights (from volume 5) which takes place right after volume 4, which is what was storytimed here
>it all fits together, but I guess they could probably just pick and choose things they want to work with
Yeah, Jennifer the social worker from Slavers was first introduced in the Marvel Knights arc with the crazy guywho purposely smothered himself with corpses because he was smothered by the corpse of his obese mother for a long period of time.and Yorkie was also introduced in Marvel Knights before showing up more often in MAX.
So a question is do you think the Welcome Back Frank story can work without Daredevil in it? If so then it could still fit in with Punisher MAX. The thing about the angels was just throwaway dialogue that you didn't need to know the context of unless you wanted to, so that can be ignored easily.
Just kill him. Nobody would know.
Hmm, does Frank know how to operate flying machines?
>>78307055
And the same Where's Walso t-shirt
>>78307071
Ennis has a weird thing about big ladies.
>>78307097
She'd basically be Mother russia from Kick Ass.
Oh Lawd
>>78307176
Oh yeah...totally forgot about Mother Russia
>that last panel
>>78307238
A massive woman, that one.
The famous Frank smile.
>Too much aggravation, not enough bullets
Sounds like a bumper sticker
>>78307303
Completely.
But a really bad dresser.
How awful.
Getting hit by one of those will knock you out cold.
>>78307747
You don't dig the, whatever the hell you call that thing she wore?
>>78307975
Which thing? The tubetop and skirt from the comic or the bikini from the movie?
Cause nah to either. You?
Nice.
>>78308087
Both horrible. A leotard would be better.
Rude
>>78306053
>>78306011
>Steve Dillon
pls no
Oh
>>78308409
We Frank now.
Great balls of fire!
>>78306991
The remember in the game released a few years ago they had Nick Fury help Frank storm Grand Nixon.
>>78308548
That sounds neat.
>>78307146
And them crushing little boys.
Fuckin' Frank.
Uh huh.
>>78308548
Yeah that game was loosely based on Welcome Back Frank and part of the Marvel Knights series.
Get ready to be caught off guard.
>>78308583
Yeah; the cutscenes make a nice mini-movie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFG_TzSrzxw
>>78308660
spook as fuck, jeez.
Ennis hates Bush so fucking much.
I remember he even fitted a scene ragging on him into Thor: Vikings.
>>78308690
Plus its version of Jigsaw turning out to bethe son left with the bomb at the end of Thomas Jane film.
>>78308708
He has no boundaries.
>>78308733
>Ennis hates Bush so fucking much.
How many are there? There's obviously that scene in Marvel Knights where the Punisher shows up, there's Thor: Vikings, 303... what else? Arguably The Boys and Punisher: The End are a reaction to not just the Bush Administration but miltary-industrial complex in general.
>>78308764
Oh yeah forgot to mention it mixed in the film as well.
He's having an off day.
>>78308792
>Punisher: The End
WANT SOME ASS? GET ME SOME ASS!
>>78308792
He was also infected in the Patient Zero story of Crossed.
>>78306096
Don't be too upset, Soap, things end up going to shit for Molly too.
>>78309058
All in good time.
This is bollocks
>>78309092
The muddy brown blood of the Marvel Knights era is still somewhat moment killing.
>>78309137
It's really is. Censoring is strange.
>>78306253
Oblivious consensual adult incest is my fetish.
>>78306684
People say Ennis was shitting on Spidey, but this is Spidey were talking about.
Being used as a shield against an undead transsexual cyborg is just another day of the week to him.
>>78309170
You must have a small collection then.
Would it be fair to blame most gang related murders on Frank?
>>78309208
Highlight of his week.
>>78309170
So you've only fapped to Oepidus for the last 20 years.
>>78309208
Arguably Ennis did (and shitting on Spider-Man never got overdone till Brand New Day era onwards), but he didn't shit on Spider-Man as much as Wolverine and Daredevil. Even as far as analogues go he shat more on Daredevil analogues.
>>78309352
Oil spill
>>78309275
There's a lot of adaptations and homages to choose from.
>>78309363
>>78309379
There needs to be a PSA short film based on this.
>>78306325
that punisher face
absolute kek
>>78309423
I've always found the pyramid eyes that Dillon used kind of off.
That's it for now. I'll continue this on Mon. I figured I'd skip the non-Ennis issues, but I can do them if y'all are interested in reading them.
>>78309515
Thank you based storyteller, I'll be waiting
Ennis supposedly has a new series coming from Avatar Press. Something about a woman who gets roped into some kind of crime or medical team that deals with the paranormal.
>>78309515
The one where Frank fights a Drew Carey-looking nudist fatso who has a man with a wrench for a hand build Taxi tanks whose drivers include Mulder and Scully analogues is a weird guilty pleasure.
Annnd captcha wanted Taxis.
>>78309620
>>78309620
>The one where Frank fights a Drew Carey-looking nudist fatso
He didn't look a thing like Drew Carey. It was more of an exaggerated caricature of Joe Quesada.
>>78309813
WTF is this?
>>78311465
A horror/comedy Ennis comic. Pru gets assigned to special unit that deals with supernatural stuff.
>>78311465
>>78309620
>Ennis supposedly has a new series coming from Avatar Press. Something about a woman who gets roped into some kind of crime or medical team that deals with the paranormal.

i hope duterte gets elected
>>78314004
wat.
>>78306210
Sooooo, Frankie is nabbing ideas from ISIS now? Then again, I'm sure he could teach them a thing or two
Thank you as always Kind Storyteller.
