Death watch and jaster mereel's Super comando's didn't want to be peacniks so they were exiled. Death watch went into being thugs and murders, while the super comandos went on to do the more honorable merc thing, with the mandalorians of their home world aboring both factions.
Jango being Jasters adopted son, The last heir to true mandalorian ideals, and the father of the clone army currently fighting a galaxy spanning war, of course shed hate him being brought up.

I think all in all, she wrote an entire season's worth of episodes. Don't get me wrong, she's not a bad writer per se, but the Mandalore thing just suffers from not being set up properly beforehand. A warrior society suddenly going pacifist is something that requires a bit more than a few lines of exposition and, I think, would've benefitted from a season 1 set up or a flashback episode about the pacification.
