She was taller than me (I'm very short IRL and was always the shortest kid in school) and would always sit next to me on the school bus. Actually the lesbian thing is due to Marcie. The character was based off of real life lesbian Billie Jean Williams (who was a close friend of Schulz) and the character's interaction with PP being misinterpreted with a context of Slave/Master dynamic, due to Marcie constantly calling PP "sir".

This reminds me of sixth grade when one of the cutest girls in my class actually liked me. Problem was that I was totally oblivious to it because I was fairly average. Anyone else had this problem where a girl from another race was attracted to you, but you didn't pick up because your conception of beauty was on your own race?
Only girl I recall liking me was a pretty girl that was used to receiving special treatment from everybody and liked me because I didn't treat her any different.

Well, there was Chanel. That was a mutual crush, and we were friends until the next school year came and we were in different classes. Rarely saw each other after that.
Then there was Hannah, a much deeper mutual crush, and my best friend... Until she moved away, to god knows where. Never heard from her again.
Then there was my five female friends April, Marie, Kara, Libby, and Anna. All of which were friends with each other and myself, and all of whom had crushes on me. Of course, I didn't know it at the time. But maybe that's for the best. Could have lead to awkward orgies.
It didn't matter anyway, I had a crush on a bitch named Stephanie at that time anyway. I think she kind of liked me back, but she was too tsundere, with emphasis on the tsun. I think her best friend liked me a little too.
Stephanie moved and I switched schools, so I never saw any of them again. Actually, I did meet up with April as an adult. It was kind of awkward, and the spark wasn't there. But on the bright side, it did make my current best friend jealous enough to make her realize she wanted to be with me, which is fine with me as I've been after he for years.
There was also one other girl who I had a crush on, who was sort of tsundere, but it was mostly a cover for her inferiority complex. There may have been something between us, but she'd never admit it, and she mostly liked girls anyway... Or at least, one girl in particular. Anyhow, that friendship ended when she disappeared. No goodbyes, just gone. But she'd been drifting away for about a year before it happened, so it shouldn't have come as a shock. Still hurt though. She was my second best friend.
Marie became a nurse, April moves around a lot, and Libby, Kara, and Anna all got knocked up. I don't know about Stephanie, besides that she grew hot.
Overall I feel things worked out for the best.
