Liz can't be dead, otherwise they'd mention Ashley being devastated in the solicits for next arc considering one of her few traits was crushing on Liz (which in retrospect is a bit weird considering Liz is like 50 at this point).
Dunno about Johann and Iosif, I hope both will survive because I'd really like to see them fighting side by side.
I didn't feel enough impact to believe either Liz or Johann are fully 100% dead just yet.

So I had a thought reading this earlier - The Black Flame is claiming that he IS the Dragon, but we have a dragon in Kansas or wherever, which he hasn't commented on at all. Maybe he's full of shit - again - and the PROPER dragon's going to put him out?

Also,I think the Black Flame is something alike; before being brought back by ZINCO, Pope's soul had spent some time hanging around the Ogdru Jahad's prison, and he took enough of them with him on his return so he can claim to actually be connected to them.
