screw you guys, I think this show is charming. Also it hassquirrel girl
>>78217337
I admit to saying it has its charm, but it's still rather mediocre, more often than not.
It got better over time, at least, but it doesn't make up for Spectacular.
>>78217411
And, though to be that guy, every appearance by Squirrel Girl is a treat.
>>78217552
she's super adorable in this show.
>>78217337
This.
>>78217839
Strangely fair.
this show reminds me of the most recent era of the simpsons. you can almost FEEL the two different groups of writers clashing over what kind of show to make.. and the result is it's not THAT bad.
and squirgirl a cute
>>78217839
There always has to be a Spider-Man cartoon cause Spider-Man is popular
>>78217411
>>78217552
They didn't update her appearance for the new book?
Triggered
>>78218023
Appeared before the book.
>>78218295
They should stop sexualizing Peter like this. He's a teenager. This is basically pedophilia
>>78218295
Have people gotten over the elbows yet?
>>78218306
That picture is from the show
>>78217839
the chibi stuff is kinda stupid
>>78218505
>>78218548
It doesn't feel right that Flash has no military background in this but has the Agent Venom suit. It doesn't jive well.
>>78217337
Unfortunately she has an only one episode where she is a main character.
>>78217995
Batman is even more popular, yet he doesn't have a cartoon on right now.
>>78218873
That's because DC killed DC Nation and is currently riding on Teen Titans Go.
Beware the Batman was the last one, though a Justice League show's coming up.
>>78218873
>Batman
>more popular than Spider-Man
>>78218919
>That's because DC killed DC Nation
No, that was Cartoon Network.
>>78218403
Nope.
I rather like, though. It borrowed Superiors design in that regard. The elbows and the eyes, I mean.
There's one episode where he goes back in time, and the whole episode is stylized in Ditkos format. He has the elbow connectors in the episode, while specifically referring it to his "old costume"
People reacted as well as you expect.
It might be bad in a lot of respects, but I do like its character progression.
He goes from a bumbling idiot who can barely hold his own against Electro, to being able to take on his entire team with no problem. And then the Web Warriors and their version of Spider-Verse happened.
[Goblin going to different dimensions to acquire spidey dna to finally wipe him out]
>>78218690
>Black Ops Spider-Man
Muh dick
>>78219068
Do you mean Agent Venom or do you mean Spider-Man Noir?
>>78219068
>Black Ops Spider-Man.
You're baiting, right?
>>78219122
Agent Venom
>>78219167
Oh, yeah. In the comic's he's pretty cool, generally.
In this show he's just kind of there.
>>78217839
>It gets good in the second season
This logic irrationally triggers me, if only because there's shows that I LIKE that get canceled in their first seasons.
>>78218737
Are they seriously turning back Connors into the Lizard AGAIN and making Rhino evil even though he's a SHIELD agent now? Why are Goblin and Ock working together?
Surely they introduced enough Spidey villains to make another roster, right?
fair enough, I'll bite.
Is Ultimate Spider-Man still having the Goblin be the big bad each season?
Before it was ALLWAYS Norman. He absorbed the spiderpowers from different spider-man, he got Thors hammer, funded Ocks stuff, decided to "create" Venom and who knows what else.
Do we at least get a new BBEG?
>>78219645
Season finale had the Grandmaster as the main villain.
Arnim Zola is also a bit of a recurring villain.
>>78219645
Thinking about it, besides when they were doing that Spider-verse tie-in, I don't think Goblin showed up much recently.
>>78219668
>>78219677
Hmm decent.
Do they at least turn down the 4th wall "jokes"?
>>78219695
I think so. There's still some lame humor around, but it's inevitable.
>>78219703
arrgh. I am torn.
On the one hand I am missing a spider-man show but on the other.. it's ultimate spider-man Peter Griffin edition..
I still remember being hyped at the Comic-con trailer. Then the episodes aired...
