I enjoyed the animation and overall story. I am not a pretentious douchebag so I can actually enjoy a little of the toilet humor. I can understand his bitch about the voices being annoying but it doesn't bother me.

Never seen it. I always inferred from the old man character that it was just Sandler's old skits strung along by a barebones plot, and I owned the CDs those skits are from, so I just kinda didn't care.

I feel like thats one of the few scenes that are purely there for comedic value, and have no "dramatic" part to them or something that really adds to the story.

The movie was fine. Really my only gripe about it was the shit part(s). Other than that it was entertaining, the animation was good, the songs were ok, and the story wasn't bad enough. I got some feels out of it.

Even though the jokes were pretty bad, the scenes that explored Davey's tragic elements were surprisingly effective. That scene when he finally reads the card gave me actual feels and strangely didn't feel incredibly forced and melodramatic to me despite the ridiculous shit surrounding it.
I'm sure people will disagree but it was enough to make me remember this movie fondly.
