I just know that about 6 years ago there was a thread on /co/ about all the marvel omnibus on Amazon were glitched so they were selling for 1/10 their costs. I hopped on and ordered like 5 but didn't get any as they ran out of stock before fulfilling my order, but they gave me about $40 bucks in credit.
It was the first time I ever bought on Amazon, sad I didn't get the Nick Fury, Gambit, Weapon X collections but still over all a decent encounter with the site. Nothing much to speak of on my end, aside from reading the IDW Ghostbusters omnibus I picked up and introducing my daughter to the '87 TMNT cartoon today. She kept excitedly shouting "Turtle power!" afterwards.
Oh, and I got my replacement copy for The Shade that somebody gifted me. It came in perfect condition this time, as opposed to the smashed up one I received initially. I can't wait to give it a read and I also didn't realize it was part of the New 52 stuff until I caught a glimpse of Deathstroke while flipping through.

A more recent entry into regular Christmas viewing is Robbie the Reindeer. Produced by those behind Wallace and Grommet, Robbie is a perpetual screw up who always seems to do well. Robie himself is voiced by Take That quit-monkey Robbie Williams. however, there's not UFOs or blow in sight so fans will be disappointed.

Of course, before animation got all flash, we had a lot of classics and low budget stuff. Henry's Cat could be confused with being the product of an 8 year old in his bedroom but back in the 80s it had a charm of its own.
