But there are more Speed heroes at 1* than any other type, so on average you will get more Speed selectors.

There's the usual Villain Siege tickets
Daily Alliance contribution (i.e. getting the 100 exp from the end of a manually run story mission (not clear-ticketed, in other words) , for example) gets you 10000 gold at 1000, 5 Clear Tickets at 2500, 30000 gold at 5000, 10 Clear Tickets at 10000, 50000 gold at 20000, and 20 Clear Tickets at 30000.
