So Kevin Feige came out and said "It is the Spider-Man costume you've known and loved, with a different take." So what does this mean?
Didn't we have JUST THAT in the past 2 Spider-Man franchises, and in the end they all looked very much similar? How 'Different' can you get with a design like this yet keep it "The spider-man costume we've known and loved."?
The First ASM tried to do just that, and it failed miserably in my honest point of view.

if you completely edited out the electro portion of ASM2 it was a great spiderman movie. nothing will ever top spiderman with a cold wearing winter clothes going "yeah im sbidamang"
and i really love the ending. it was a perfect ending for a dead universe. a "BATMAN AND ROBIN WILL NEVER DIE" moment ending without a big fight. little kid + spiderman against rhino ending kicked ass. and the slow mo web hand reaching for gwen was fine.
this movie just had too many cooks in the kitchen. otherwise its no worst then any of the raimi flicks.

I'd rather he start with his classic blue and red costume, and it gets torn pretty bad in his first fight. Maybe he doesn't know how to sew it back up like the Ultimate version of the character, who had to have MJ fix his suit whenever it got torn. Tony gives him the Iron Spider armor, and after he defects Cap's team gives him a new suit that's basically his old one but in a stronger material.
