Let's not go overboard here. Hybrid Theory might have been on the edgy side, but musically it's not the worst album. Certainly the best Linkin Park album. I enjoy listening to it from time to time.

LP was the squeeky clean boy band version of a genre that was already somewhat boy bandish... they were the ultimate commercialization of a somewhat commercial style of music already.
That being said, it and Meteora are great albums. Nothing wrong with a little bubblegum from time to time.Not as good as Korns first three albums, any of the Deftones stuff, Limp Bizkit's first, or Slipknot's first two, though.
