I found the first few episodes a bit jarring but it gets so unbelievably funny. Even serious at times, it did the whole "Bruce's angsty backstory" thing that's in everything batman really well. Also featured the animated debut of Superdickery.

I had the same problem, but I like seeing the Joker being portrayed as an absolute egomaniac instead of "le CUT MY FACE OFF >:DD" edgy Joker. Hamil's Joker is a great midway between edgy and violent but I love full camp Joker enough that I can get past it.
