Hirsch i think would handle humour perfectly, plus it is something IMHO that is right up his alley. The amount of conspiracy theories that Hirsch has studied would play quite well into the Danny Phantom universe. So it'd be a great mystery show.

This is blatantly false. Almost nothing managed to get resolved in Korra after 4 seasons. By the time the show ended, non-benders went nowhere in society, spirits are causing chaos, and the earth kingdom is still in ruins. Their entire world is fucked, and Korra decides to run away from it with Asami rather than handle it.

As far as LOK goes the less said the better because it's how we got to see how they are as writers standalone.

All seasons of Korra are incredibly weak in the plot area, for individual episodes and arcs. They're also Olympic level ball-droppers when it comes to villains.
Hirsch is good but GF's use of humor is wanton and antithesis to good humor, and its mystery is dragged out and shallow.
Weisman is the best bet. Even if it ends before its time a great buildup ending abruptly is better than poor resolutions.
