Why, I do believe it's time for some obscure Carmine Infantino comics!
But enough about me, how's your weekend shaping up?
Infantino didn't draw the cover story, but I like posting cover stories.
Infantino only drew the cover, but I do love a good cover story.
That's enough classic Carmine for today...
... it's time for The Amazing Spider-Man!
Bump, thanks for posting.
Cool.
OH SHIT IT'S REX THE WONDER DOG!
OR SHOULD I SAY "REX THE WONDER GOAT"!
That's enough web-slinging wildness for today...
... it's 13 days until Christmas!
Len Wein wrote several issues of Star Trek for Gold Key and DC.
That's enough seasonal cheer for today...
... Frank Sinatra, whose music has been used in the soundtrack for just about everything, from Batman: Arkham Knight to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, was born 100 years ago today...
... Dan DeCarlo would've been 96 today...
Alrighty then.

GOAT.
... Fred Kida would've been 95...

Hey Mini what ideas do you have for your next theme series?

Now THAT is a very intelligent question...
I'm going to post the works of every comic book legend who's ever worked on a Star Trek/Star Wars/Battlestar Galactica/2001:A Space Odyssey/Bill & Ted/Indiana Jones comic. This means I'll be posting stuff from so many wonderful writers and artists, like Len Wein and Gray Morrow and James Stokoe and Steve Gerber and Roger Langridge and Bob Rozakis and Russ Manning and Elliot S! Maggin and Evan Dorkin and Bill Mantlo and Stan Sakai...
Bottom line, I'm gonna go right up until the present day, so this'll take a while. I probably won't be so exhaustive when I hit the 60's - posting weird little shit like I've done today is cute and all, but I want to be done with this before the end of the decade. When I AM caught up with the present day, I'll probably still keep posting their stuff... but I'll try and keep it to one day, same as I do with the Star Trek/Escape From New York stuff. Might even fold both those days into one, if it's been a slow month. When that happens... who knows? I might go back to some literary adaptations, or whatever hot shit has been turned into a movie...

... Bob Barker is 92...
... Connie Francis, whose song "I Will Wait For You" was used in an episode of Futurama, is 77...
... Phyllis Somerville is 72...
... Bill Nighy is 66...
... Sarah Douglas is 63...
... Tallulah Bankhead died 47 years ago today...
... Jennifer Connelly is 45...
... Jack Cassidy died 39 years ago...
... Peter Boyle died 9 years ago...
... Van Johnson died 7 years ago...

Well, I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow, knock on wood, to give you some more classic Carmine, as well as the usual stuff.
Thanks, OP.
