Does movie even have a marketing budget? it's literally coming less than two months away and is the first /co/ movie of 2016 yet people are more hyped about TMNT 2 and a suicide squad trailer.
Plus we only have one trailer of it lol.

There was that commercial where he made fun of kids in X Men costumes. I'm sure that was pretty good at marketing toward the Deadpool fanbase.
>memepool
It's definitely been strangely marketed. I'm in charge of marketing at my local theatre and we haven't received any one-sheets yet, despite the one in the OP being released months ago. Typically, if a movie is being marketed well, we'll have the teasers 6 months out.
It's got, what? The redband Comic Con trailer and a handful of LOL SO RANDUMB! XD posters? And it comes out in less than two months?
>>78114886
That is one flat ass.
>>78114886
His ass is disgusting.
>>78113220
Because Fox
R-rated flicks usually dont get as much marketing as PG-13 ones
>>78114886
>Bad Ass
>Smart Ass
>Great Ass
actually no ass
>>78114886
>LOL SO RANDUMB! XD posters
Were you honestly expecting anything different?
>>78116850
That, and they're pretty much relying on word of mouth to sell this fucker. That's basically how it even got made in the first place, so Fox is pretty much banking on lightning striking twice in order to save some marketing money.
>>78114886
That ass is disappointing
for comparison: Kick-Ass
>teaser: Nov 13, 2009
>trailer 1: Jan 11, 2010
>trailer 2: Feb 24, 2010
>trailer 3: Mar 19, 2010
>release-date: 16 April 2010

Have you ever actually been a Deadpool reader? Something tells me you haven't since you're parroting "things /co/ says"
memes dont need marketing
thats why theyre memes
>>78113220
>it's literally coming less than two months away
Is it? I thought it was later on in 2016 around Doctor Strange time. I think this will be a flop guys and Reynolds is going to kill himself
At this point I'm grateful it even exists. Success means we could get more R-rated superhero films, but even if it's a flop, it'll be a great flop. Like Dredd.
What's the actual budget?
Not even the retards at Fox would give a R rated over the top action movie more than 50 million.
>>78117045
You completely missed my point, mate. Maybe you should actually try to understand what people are saying before you reply.
LOLSORANDOM works pretty well with a general audience, and the point of marketing is to get people to see your movie. How else would you genuinely, truly expect Fox to advertise a comedic R-rated superhero movie?
It's advertised on Mike's Harder Lemonade for some reason

also, what about this?
it supposed to come out in 10 months and they havent even started shooting yet
>>78113220
literally randompool the movie.
A kellypool would had worked as a pg-13 desu. Also missed opportunity with the casting that they chose.
>>78117184
This was never going to be made. It was obvious
>>78113297
That video sums up Deadpool's interactions with the X-Men pretty well.
>>78117097
It's rumored at $80mil.
>>78117192
Its a good thing the script is literally just Kellypool then
New exclusive Deadpool trailer to be shown before The Force Awakens IMAX
>>78113220
>it's literally coming less than two months away
It is?
Has there been posters? I haven't seen any. I literally didn't know when this was coming out
>>78117184
It became very clear that that was never actually getting made on account of nobody giving a shit about it
>>78113220
He's all over ESPN this week.
My guess is there saving their money and relying people will come purely out of name brand and word of mouth. That said, I'm not sure how name brand will be useful when an R rating drastically segregate a large number of the audience that are most interested to watching this.
