Can we take a minute to talk about Kahn Souphanousinphone?
In most long running series the characters become more and more 1 dimensional. Khan seemed to be the opposite of that.
He started out as an asian who hated his redneck neighbors but eventually started respecting Hank and was even seen drinking beer with the 4 on occasion.

One of my favorite scenes in KotH history was Cotton correctly identifying Khan's ethnicity upon first meeting him.

It's a truly great moment of characterization for Cotton, and for Hank. Hanks fears that his father will behave in some offensive way, but Cotton is revealed to have a far broader world view than Hank gave him credit for.
It's subtle and brilliant.

well of course his race stopped being an issue after his first episode, and to a lesser extent the redneck episode
the real clash of course is culture. not only is he richer and a workaholic (instead of just 'hard workin but knows how to relax' like most of the others), he has a massive ego..
because he's from california! and you have to have an ego there. They made references to the shitty suburb where they used to live, and how the whole soccerymom culture tore them apart
So basically over time kahn learns to unclench his anus, that he's not in shitty 'i have to be better than you' california anymore, and that people will like him a lot better if he DOESN'T be competitive.

Kahn really did develop nicely as a character.
Kahn was still victim to status quo same as Bobby and Bill though. There are a lot of episodes where he learns he has more in common with Hank than he thought but then he's back to arbitrarily hating him next episode.

I loved the episode where he stopped kissing up to Ted Wassanasong and found that just being his own man was for fulfilling. I really wish they would have kept that but instead he went right back to sucking ted's dick.
