Kanan looks like they barely did anything with him from this scene, but that's mostly the distance. Kallus, Hera, and I think Sabine too all ended up great. Zeb is hard to judge given we don't know what his race would even look like outside of that style but it looks different enough from the show. Ezra's face just got ridiculously punchable though.

He killed a corvette and phoenix leader in Wings of the Master. Generally his traps do something, just they can't really do much against the plot armor heroes and he can't outmatch a force sensitive. Even in season 1 that was the case. I do keep wishing though that he would be shown to have at least one trick up his sleeve or something all those times he confronts them in person. Depends. The paywall isn't too bad, but it's hella grindy and has some balance issues. Dooku's OP as fuck. Plus I find their choice in characters weird, since there are a bunch of literalwhos like Old Daka and that Tusken cheiftain with the unpronounceable name, but no Grievous to be found.

Look man, in season one Kallus was a badass.
In 'Droids in Distress', he fought Zeb one on one and defeated him before Ezra surprised him with a Force push. In 'Empire Day' he fought the rebels on a speeding transport, jumping on it and fighting them and even grabbed the edge of the speeding thing when he was nearly shot off of it and still kept firing. And in 'Vision of Hope' he was caught in a grenade explosion and still went after the rebels, limping in pain.

Then they lost the Pelta, then in the first smuggling run they lost a corvette, but we see them use two in the subsequent run. So there should be 3 left, plus those shuttles and a handful of A-wings. I'm assuming they everyone else is carrying out raids, supply runs, "liberations" of equipment, and recruiting off-screen.and they probably lack the budget to keep drawing the whole fleet

It depends on their world and patrol routine, but your standard bike scout keeps most of their armory on the speeder bike itself. Anyway, blockades in Star Wars are such a viable tactic because of hyperspace, not in spite of it. You can only ever jump in from a predictable lane mapped through space. The blockade was specifically on that side of the planet because it was the most likely, if not the only, spot incoming rebel ships could jump in to. And going around the blockade can't be done, as the defender will always have the mathematically easier avenue to intercept your ships at any point around the planet. They can fly around it faster than you because they're already in orbit.

It also happened in the backstory to the Crimson Corsair story. CIS ship does an emergency hyperspace escape without calculating correctly and comes out right at a planet and crashes on it.

We know from the nuCanon that an ISD carries a standard complement of nearly 50,000 between crew and embarked soldiers, and we see the Interdictor dwarfing the Gozanti cruisers. I'm sure someone could do a complex comparison between the size of the Interdictor vs the size of the cruisers vs the size, but I figure it's at least several times the Gozantis, and at even 1/20 of the size of a Star Destroyer, if the crew were scaled down linearly, it would have a crew of approximately 2000-2500.

For me, it's probably the TIE Fighter Attack in A New Hope after the Falcon escapes the Death Star, just after Luke sees Ben die. To me, it perfectly compounds all of the emotions that the movie is trying to convey, that there may be some dark times and somber moments on the way, but they're fleeting. That the best we can do is move on and be better for them.

Hard to pick a single moment because I'm constantly influenced by the music that plays during most of the scenes. TIE Attack from ANH, and the part where R2 helps everyone escape Bespin in ESH come to mind.
As for scenes, it would be the climax of the Luke/Vader duel from Return of the Jedi. Seeing him come so close to the edge only to come to his senses. The perfect mix of tension and musical dread.

Is anyone else disappointed that Phoenix Squad is being somewhat squandered instead of developed into supporting characters?
I mean, Phoenix Leader biting it in Wings of the Master would've had a lot more punch if he'd been a character with a name (besides his title) and screentime beforehand.
I'm not saying they need complex backgrounds or personalities, but make them like the second-tier Clone troopers characters from The Clone Wars. Characters like Tup, Waxer, Echo and what not.
I mean, why was all this concept art made if they're just meant to be nameless cannon fodder in A-wings?

Since its the same night as TCM's holiday Disney block, I'm going to a 10:00 show and skipping the last half of Babes in Toyland and some 80s movie I don't give a fuck about. He may not have killed EVERY Jedi, but he didn't just take out the "big dogs". Most of them were out fighting the war and were killed by their clones or were killed in the attempted arrest of Palpatine
