Endtown update, looks like Holly's building up to another episode.
Its Deadeye.
>>78096489
>Who cares about traps?
Kobolds?
>>78096560
Explain.
>>78096489
/r/equesting that picture where holly has a bump under her skirt.
>>78096582
Kobolds in the D&D settings are expert trappers, it's their thing.
I actually feel bad for Holly. I know a bunch of you guys will claim she blew past the point of empathy, but I think that's more to do with the pacing of the schedule forcing us to deal with Holly poorly handling trauma for so long.
It was nice to know you, Holly
>>78096707
Basically, arc fatigue.
>>78096773
Yeah. Good term.
>>78096707
>blew past the point of empathy
All things considered she held up pretty much the way I'd expect an actal person in her position would. She is well thought out from a narrative standpoint, too.
So I've been rereading Endtown over the last couple of days and just noticed something. Petey killed a bunch of dittoes without being able to explain why, obviously due to his programming.
>>78096875
Then much later, we have this very scene take place inside Clive. Now, assuming Aaron didn't simply forget how thing were supposed to work, I think it's safe to say that the Topsiders have gotten a hold of Dittos and have modified their equipment to be able to use them properly. Does anyone not have dittos at this point?
>>78096899
Or more likely, Petey just didn't want to say he hates bugs. He isn't programmed to do it, he just finds them icky.
>>78097035
Petey doesn't really strike me as the lying type, especially not back when he was still being all transportery
>>78097153
It's a white lie.
>>78096707
I feel you.
>>78096489
>have near-schism episode
>get somewhat better
>see lizard trying to steal your bf
>do something risky and stupid to win him back
being Holly must be torture
>>78098107
Being anyone other than Marx in the world of Endtown IS torture.
>>78096899
That's an interesting point. I wonder if that will ever be explained.
>>78096489
Even Holly says the plot to pick up!
>>78098107
>Save Linda
>she gets you arrested and tortured
>Save Clive
>everyone forgets about Petey and insists you are crazy for caring about him and trying to do the right thing.
>Help Jim
>He tries to kill you
>Save Chick
>He's terrified of you now
>Saved Kirbee
>Now she's taking the man you love without even trying
>>78100232
FLASK WAS RIGHT!
>>78096526
Deadeyes fix reality, not break it.
>>78096489
But characters die in adventures, Holly!
>>78098250
Being Marx is torture too. Did you forget his stint in purgatory with flask. She's not the first he's helped like that I'd bet. All those people, dead. He gave them an afterlife and they know it. He answers some of their lingering questions too if flasks experience is anything to go by. That's a grim fucking job man.
So.
Marx.
AARON Marx.
Is he literally just the author's self insert mary sue?
>>78103793
Well if she's lucky, the big green oaf will be next. If not, she gets reunited with Clive and doesn't have to go back to Endtown. It's win-win!
>>78104373
I say no one will die for a while.
>>78104142
I know a little bit about Aaron. No, Albert is the closest thing to a self insert. Marx is Tom Bombadil.
>>78100232
>save coupons
>they expire before you can use them
Holly's gonna get the food that's actually a trap, isn't she?
Holly can't get away with nothin', can she?
Is it just me or is the art better on this one. It might be the solid colors. Ignore this
>>78104142
Aaron Marx, Aaron Marx
Turns the plot into a farce
He's so clever, he's so smart
He can melt a dead cougar's heart
Goddamn it, stupid Aaron Marx
So...now that things are somewhat normal, Ol' Cheesebreath's feeling free to act a fuckin' fool again, eh?
>>78096560
there's kobold traps and then there's kobold traps
Both are acceptable
>>78106473
I like how you think.
>>78105111
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
>>78100232
>Save Chick
>He's terrified of you now
After she attempted to forcefully get the answers she wanted out of him. He was 100% ok with her between the "save" and "attempted torture" parts.
>>78108881
This is what happens when you use a dialogue wheel!
>>78100232
>everyone forgets about Petey and insists you are crazy for caring about him and trying to do the right thing.Aaron actually said that there was a tracking device in Clive put there just in case someone tried to snatch the brain. Every topsider incident since then has actually been Holly's fault and that she is indeed crazy. Not crazy for wanting to save Clive, mind you. She is crazy in an unrelated issue.
>>78096875
Remember, all dittos basically look like those things from the Toast Crunch commercials.
Hey guys! Arr-pigenin here with the update!
>Ditto constructs are given conclusive HP. The end effect is that smaller structures can be denser adthus have more HP than larger structures with the same HP.
>Persuasion will be simplified. Modifiers aside it will just be mind roll vs. Mind roll. As soon as my internet for Google drive works.

Wouldn't the cloaca make it for our purposes that all kobolds are fair game?
>>78115244
the males still have penis, a cloaca doesn't mean the animal has no penis
>>78115397
I don't think the people you're talking to actually care if they're saying any cloaca is fair game.
Personally, I'd like a cute kobolddaughter to train to fight and hunt.
>>78115916
kobolds can actually outlive humans, but have such a shit life expectancy they die really quick
>>78096489
I've only seen this comic in the catalog, but why is it, in every panel, there is someone angry, yelling, screaming, crying, ranting, etc?
>>78116458
Why don't you just read it and find out?
>>78116458
It's a post-apocalyptic comic played straight
>>78116555
That's saying something because it's also a post-apocalyptic comic where most of the characters are cute and fuzzy talking animals
>>78116620
There's an airborne virus that mutates you. If you're very lucky you become a Disney extra (and many go crazy trying to cope with it), else you become some man-eating deformed flesh monster.
