I've never felt good about a game I pre-ordered. They always end up disappointingly worse than I hope. I have issues with pre-ordering going back to Halo 2.
I'm old enough that I don't have to go out and get the new game on it's release day anymore. I wait for the steam sale or the price drop. And a Lego Marvel game isn't really on my list of "must play release day 2016" anyway. Hell, I still put hours into TF2 after seven years of playing that.
But Overwatch I'm kinda drooling over.

It odd that they went with the whole Marvel universe in the first game, and then went with a narrower focus of just the Avengers in the second. To that end, I can accept the lack of FF and mutants, though if they add in the GotG and Inhumans and what not, then its clearly just Sony/Fox feud thing. Marvel's got the rights to throw in any of their characters into their video games with the exception of Namor oddly enough.

Presumably, when Marvel was making the contracts with Fox it didn't give them Ronan and the Kree because they wanted to license them seperately, perhaps for a potential Inhumans movie or some cosmic property.
My theory is that the contract is "all characters that debuted in FF or related comics minus X" (such as Inhumans, Black Panther etc), they probably didn't include Kang in the list of characters they wanted to keep because Marvel never foresaw the possibility of an Avengers movie.

I got the game and season pass during black Friday for less than the cost of a new game. Since most of the DLC was already out when I got it was a pretty neat experience.

They've got Goliath and Giant-man in the game, so there's already a "grows huge" powerset. As long as their power set is in the game already, then it's basically just a matter of redoing the textures.
Citizen V will probably have the "sword" powerset. Songbird and Meteorite will have "flight" and "energy blasts." Jolt will have "electricity." Techno will probably have "hacker" and Mach will have "flight" and "missiles."
None of them have particularly unique powersets such that they wouldn't already be in the game. Only iffy thing is Meteorite's intangibility but Vision is in the game and if he has it then she probably would too.
