Basically. Brother Power the Geek and Prez were created by Joe Simon in the 60s and 70s. The other characters were created by Morrison during his Animal Man run, as the Justice League from an earth that had been destroyed in the Crisis.

I like to think of it in a way that even though it advertises itself as "DC universe, but X", writers could use it as an opportunity to write heroes in a different way.
I've actually thought up different ideas for these types of stories, how they can offer different material and the same material at the same time.

Some of it is stupid, but it's a work in progress. Think about it like this: Spider-Gwen is advertised as "Spider-Man Gwen", but the book has more changes than that.
I liked this universe. Curious as to how all the other heroes turned out, if ever.
