No, it was awful. It had some GOAT music that sounded like Guilty Gear and some interesting designs for the playable character but everything else is shit.
It's an endless runner with RPG boss battles and the sprite work for the character is based on the iOS MMX with REMOVED FRAMES for the most part so not even the walking animation looks right.

Its kind of fucked up where it could take place to be fair.
Since it likely happens years later in the Classic era, since Kalinka is a teen, but then we have time and space getting fucked with, and heroes are getting kidnapped.
Light and Cossack are able to make an army (because each is meant to be a player) of time cops like reploids that fight all the bad guys making problems, as well as saving the characters that are gone.
To bad the story doesn't really go anywhere, beside a few bits of plot here and there, but it had no ending, so I don't blame them for not using it.

Archie and everyone over there is vague about it, but apparently this hiatus and Sonic Boom getting canned has to do more with Archie literally not being able to afford publishing them than it has to do with anything else(Mega Man for example sold around Sonic Universe's numbers most months), so it's possible that they'll revive it in the future(personally I think they should have canned Sonic Universe instead)
