He's a monolith anon. Heroes of his nature are meant to be broad figures that act as the embodiment of some higher ideal. This is like the basics of understanding mythological stories. You need two opposing monolithic figures like Optimus and Megatron, and everyone else in between them in the story are defined by contrasting off of these ideals
