You'd think that after Stan Lee himself said that the racial re-assignment of established characters has gotten out of hand, comic book editors would finally be thinking twice about it, but they're not. Society has gotten so bad that even the most influential comic book creator in history has no voice compared to the social justice movement.
There's nothing wrong with wanting more non-white characters in the comics you make, and if that's the case than go ahead and write about the non-white characters who exist, or create new characters.
Changing the race of a character is stupid though. If they wanted a black Flash character, they should have just made one instead of hijacking one who already exists and is loved by many fans. No-one wants to hear that though. They care just as much about erasing white characters from history as they do about adding non-white characters.
