Well Bendis's run ended with a dude who was explicitly said to be the most powerful mutant jn existence.

Problem is, he didn't exactly have any feats to back this claim up, in comparison to Vulcan, let alone Franklin "I made a universe twice before my balls dropped" Richards.

He would have to be alive for that to happen. And Reed would have to be wrong, and that's not happening because that would also require him to be alive so he can explain why he isn't actually wrong.

Franklin Richards is the kid of Sue and Reed Richards, who is basically a reality warper.
Hyperstorm is from an alternate universe, the son of Franklin Richards and Rachel Grey (a Phoenix Force host).
X-Man is basically Cable without the Robot stuff, said to be the most powerful non-Phoenix Telekinetic on the planet.
Squirrel Girl can win any fight, as long as its a joke.

He's absurdly powerful. But it helps to know that Legion and The Marquis of Death, among others, are easily on par with him.

Half of the Omega Mutants have made the universe, and reality by proxy their bitch.

It triggers me almost as much as people who think Jaspers was a mutant.

This. He's too fucking powerful.

Legion's the only Mutant who shattered the Fourth Wall and also Wiped Himself out of existence on a whim - because he was fed up with life.

During that point - he existed outside of Time and Space as concepts while observing the entirety of Time personified as a tree system (Pic Related)

He's also the only mutant who literally generates powers spontaneously. In an issue of X-Men Legacy (248 I think) Rogue claimed that he was creating new powers "all the time" after temporarily absorbing a bunch of his own.

There's also that one time he casually stuck the 616 Marvel universe into a box that one time his Brain made him a Big Sister.
To be more specific, it was that new Big Sister Personality - Moira who did it for him, while reshaping the rest of existence into the Age of X (not Apocalypse) reality.

Legion is too fucking absurd because he's explicitly stated (multiple times, once by Dr. Nemesis in New Mutant vol 3.) to have no limits.

BTW, Onslaught's not even a mutant. He's the result of the dark aspects of two mutants - but onslaught himself is a psychic entity. But you should've known that.

If it also helps - Onslaught needed Franklin Richards and Nate grey for the raw power needed for his little plan.

Mainly because Onslaught's a little bitch.

Also Hyperstorm, Mr. M, Jean Grey (Phoenix), and a bunch of other mutants would shitstomp Onslaught.

Mr. M will definitely have trouble against Galactus, but Hyperstorm and Jean Grey can easily beat him.

For perspective, Hyperstorm was tricked into being an Infinite Energy source for Galactus by Reed Richards.

>Legion

I seem to recall Trion Juggernaut being pretty insanely powerful, but then he's not technically a mutant
>>
>>78019905
While you're correct that Onslaught is merely the psychic combination of the dark conscience of Professor X and Magneto, he is turned into a physical form of their psyche and therefore is a mutant. He's a mutant of two minds in one put into a physical form. The dark aspects of two mutants are simply of mutants. He's a combo of mutants. 1 mutant +1 mutant = mutant. He did need both those guys for their raw power but he was able to capture Frank Richards and the kid couldn't do anything about it. But you may be right that X-,man is stronger

Marquis (and Clyde his "other half") were able to summon and control Cosmic Abstracts like Infinity - who are far above the Celestials IIRC.

Young Franklin's greatest feat is manipulating the Universe, and Creating a Pocket/Small Universe as a kid.

Adult Franklin's greatest feat is fighting the Celestials (who're also no Joke)

Clyde Wyncham was forced to create his own version of a shit ton of beings (including Galactus) in order to fight the Marquis (who was casually creating his own version of abstracts like Infinity)

People don't like to talk about Marquis because:
1 - they don't know him

True.
I originally put in in there because some Phoenix fanboys will claim that Jean and the Phoeni are the same, etc.

Jean and Rachel aren't that powerful compared to others on this list (without the Phoenix force)

Being equal to most of Earth's heroes and mutants combined in Rogue and stopping Exitar tops that imho.

Even if people hate it it's not that far-fetched though. Bob won't affect the universe on any scale comparable to Owen, but his own body and place of focus - total power. Not as silly as people think.

You mean the Collective? I don't remember Rogue doing that.

That same Collective (Michael Pointer) casually BRF'd Sentry away (though he quickly came back IIRC)

Owen is far more powerful than Sentry. I chalk this up to Sentry wanking.

As for most Powerful Mutant? Mimic technically is if he's able to retain al the powers he's exposed too (not just the 5 he got from the O5 X-Men and Professor X)
>>
>>78024126
Nope, I was talking about the Uncanny Avengers finale with Horseman of Death Bob. Yeah but there extensive and intensive power. Sentry wanking is quite pleasant sometimes, we don't get enough crazy power feats in Marvel.

As for Mimic - it's like saying Absorbing Man is the most powerful entity, there is surely a limit to Mimic's copying capability.

I honestly doubt that he does.

He's used to mimicking powers while still retaining the 6 he permanently has stored.

Even if that were true -the fact that he can even copy abilities is broken. He's like Protege if you remember him.

That's how Power Mimics work - you only beat them if you have more experience.

Oh and Mimic's power works on literally ANYONE, not just Mutant signatures - so he's automatically better than Hope Summers.

Fortunately he also absorbs knowlege and skills as well as powers.

Protege was op as fuark. But that fucking Celestial that no one knows where to put in cosmic hierarchy though.

So Mimic is really broken, but I assume he's a recent creation? From what you say he really has a potential of an omnipotent being, much more so than the best Adaptoids in Hickman's run.

Power Mimicry is far more broken than Power Absoprtion.

Mainly because it's quicker, and has better stackability. Especially if it's proximity based.

All forms of Power Absorption are touch-based, whereas Mimicry is usually dictated by distance.

Also, if they're one of those Mimics who PERMANENTLY retains every ability they come across, then they're virtually unstoppable.

Hence Protege - who copied the Fucking Living Tribunal.

I love cosmic technological Marvel. I greatly enjoyed Annihilation. Where is this from?

Except in Hope's limited "it only works on mutants!" case.

Honestly
I wanna see a DS Sentry Solo where he goes on cosmic adventures and teams up with a revived Genis-Vell as Legacy. Definitely in the Avengers Forever outfit. Buddy Cop Cosmic Crazyguy Space Adventures.

Mimic is older than dirt. Got surge in popularity with Exiles.
>>

>recent creation
no the same anon but wut ?

He is literally the first member of the x-men after O5, started as a villain but then became an x-men.

that is all i know about his 616 counterpart, he is well known because an alternative reality of him was the protagonist of exiles, a comic that run for 100 issues.

>So Mimic is really broken, but I assume he's a recent creation?

Nope. He's one of Marvel's older characters.

Mimic is literally the very first Mutant who came to the Xavier School after the Original X-Men were formed (those 5).

Because he spent so much time around them, Mimic permanently acquired their powers.

>Cyclops' Blasts
>Jeans Telekinesis
>Beasts' Intellect and Physiology (Controllable)
>Iceman's ability
>Angel's Wings
>Professor X's Telepathy

He also temporarily copies the powers of everyone around him, as well as skills and memories.

He's never really been used in stories much, besides Osborne's X-Men. He's also best friends with Omega - who used to be the Collective, and is equally OP power-wise.

The only reason Mimic isn't rulling the world - is because the Powers come and go. With the exception of the 6 stated above, all of Mimics abilities leave as he gets out of distance from his targets.

However, he does have the ability to retain powers as we've obviously seen If he learns how to permanently store every power - then he's unbeatable by everyone short of Legion, Omega, Franklin, MoD, and other heavy hitters.

I have been thinking, the solicitation for uncanny x-men 2 (magneto x-men in January) say a character that we thought we will never see again will join the team.

One of my option is mimic, the other is x-man, he never went back to his reality.

other than these 2 i have run out of characters.

If Hope and Mimic (both mutants) had a kid - would they have the same power? Would the kid copy their parents from birth?

Count me in bro. After Uncanny Avengers ended there was a rumor that Remender liked writing Sentry so much that he wanted to do a solo mini-series, called "Rising Sun" or something alike, with Bob dealing with crazy cosmic shit as half-Apocalypse. But no, we got ANAD and Niggers in Space instead.

Everyone gets defeated by the nature of plot - what's your point?

Jaspers was beaten by the Fury - something which would rape Onslaught a thousand times over.

MoD was beaten by the combined efforts of his alternate self (Clyde) and an amped up Fantastic Four

Mr. M essential let himself die.

Jean Grey is a mess, but died due to the nature of her powers.

You're taking their "defeats" out of context. They're still far more powerful than most characters in fiction.

Is Hyperstorm confirmed for being a mutant, or are we just assuming that because of Franklin?

Sinister kind of implies it, but it's not really anything definite.
