My question is, with such a sick, 2sp00ky character like Venom (or, alternatively, Carnage) why has NOBODY thought to do a horror movie/comic/game with Venom/Carnage as the main bad guy? The best way to introduce Venom is from the start, like Spectacular Spider-Man did. He has to be a friend turned evil for the most impact, I think.
Heck, they can just adapt the whole symbiotes thing from SSM to the movies, they'd even have a version of the sinister six as sort of cannon fodder at some point.

There was that time where Peter exposed his pictures for the Daily Bugle as fake, took his girl, and then dropped Venom on top of him. Then he teamed up with Sandman to kill Spiderman, and something something Harry threw grenades and then he and the symbiote died.

Alien suit saga is the whole second movie with Eddie Brock and Felicia Hardy introduced as characters. At the end of the film Spidey gets rid of the suit via the bell tower and Felicia helps him get away. The After credit scene is Eddie, all drunk and depressed at losing his job, comes into the curch after hearing all the ruckus, the symbiote latches onto him. The last thing we see are the large eyes and toothy smile before the film cuts out.
Last movie is all about Spidey trying to survive Venom while Venom tries to rid him from the world in some misplaced attempt to be a hero.
