I don't know what's going on with Batman, but let's see if I can sum up what's been happening with Spider-Man. A lot of this is going from memory, so if I make any mistakes, I'd appreciate it if people set me straight.
>it's up to Peter to keep Parker Industries running now that Otto's dead
>Anna Maria finds out he's Spider-Man
>he tells her everything that happened with Otto
>he finds out a girl called Cindy was bitten by the same spider that gave him his powers (it no longer died immediately after biting him)
>she was kept in a hidden bunker by Ezekiel to prevent Morlun and his family from finding her and carrying out a plan to kill every Spider in the multiverse
>Peter doesn't realise this until he's already let her out
>Felicia and Electro team up to kill Spider-Man
>Peter and Cindy (who starts calling herself Silk) team up to stop them
>Peter tries to prove to Felicia that it was actually Otto that screwed her over
>she doesn't care and just wants to be a crime lord now for the sake of it

>Morlun's family learn that Cindy is loose and force an entity called the Master Weaver to open portals to other universes so they can kill any Spiders they find there
>they're doing this because a prophecy says the Spiders will kill them 1000 years from now unless they prevent more from coming into existence by killing three special Spiders: The Bride (Cindy), The Other (Kaine) and the Scion (Benjy, Mayday's brother from Earth-982)
>the Spiders eventually team up and are led by Peter and Otto (who got sent to the year 2099 when the Horizon building was destroyed and ran into present-day Peter while trying to get back to his own time)
>one of Morlun's brothers, Karn, decides to side with the Spiders since his family banished him after he hesitated to help capture the Master Weaver and got his mother killed as a result
>Benjy gets sent back to Earth-982 and Otto kills the Master Weaver to prevent him from letting Morlun's family go after Benjy
>they manage to trap Morlun's family in a bunker on an irradiated world with nothing but actual spiders to eat
>Otto gets sent back in time with no memory of what happened
>Secret Wars happens
>eight months later, Peter has operations all around the world and is
>unknown to him, Norman is selling weapons to the leader of an African nation who's at risk of losing influence over his people due to Peter's philanthropy
>meanwhile, Otto has kept a copy of his mind inside the Living Brain
