That was my favourite bi5 of the trailer. I really like how he's goofy af in public and this sinister intelligent psycho behind closed doors. Lex has always changed with the times.
He was a kooky mad scientist. When people feared weird scientists and atomic mayhem.
Then he was a cutthroat businessman when the worst enemy to the public seemed like big business.
Then he was a corrupt politician and President, when people thought that idea was terrifying.
He has also been a combination of all three.
It only makes sense for him to now be a new type of boogeyman. A corrupt yuppie in tech with no real concern for human interests. A complete sociopath who can mimic charisma when the situation calls for it.
