And honestly, the whole Sister Spooky story arc, especially the first half, is among the best stuff I've ever seen in ANY comic.
Is Empowered perfect?
Oh FUCK no.
Hell, Warren is laughing at himself with every volume. But Empowered wears its flaws better than any other comic out there, and manages to tell awesome stories.
And all while throwing out cheesecake by the bucket!
