Nope, CW/DC is basically doing what Marvel did with the Avengers: take a bunch of kinda populars who can't carry a book by themselves and toss them all on a team.
Rip Hunter has been doing what the show looks like it'll do in the comics, except in the comics he did it with Booster Gold and his family.
I hear Booster Gold and Ted Kord are both off the table for this show, which has a lot of fans worried or just downright turned off.
After the crossover, I'm really excited to see the Hawks together, especially Carter. With them going back in time, I hope we see them running into a previous life of theirs, especially since they're hunting Savage.
Cold and Heatwave might be okay, but I'd rather have them as part of a fully realized Rogues team.
The fucking CW is assembling a better Justice League than Warner Brothers.
