I still think they could boost sales temporarily by having Tim, Damian, Carrie, Harper, Steph, and/or Cass randomly join the cast and attend GA. There would probably be some mandate that at least one of them has to appear each issue or something. The way to work around it would just be that they would all be too busy crimefighting to actually join in, but they would need to make sufficient appearances to convince their fans to support the book. Eventually, they could just relaunch it as a Batfamily book set in GA, with the original cast as supporting characters.
I know that sounds awful, but considering where DC is right now, they may feel they need to do whatever they can to boost sales. They know how much GA is loved, so they would obviously try to keep the book, while finding a way to increase sales. I don't really know if I would prefer for them to go in a similar direction to what I just said, or just straight up end the book, though.
Hopefully, we just get a simple a relaunch of some sort, though.Calamity, the crimefighting arsonist! Olive fights crime, but her friend Maps solves mysteries! But what happens when Gotham Academy's own "Dynamic Duo" comes across ________?
