The thing with the subreddit is that, as opposed to /co/, underage people are allowed. The project is less of a Reddit making its own Homestuck game and more of a group of highschoolers in the subreddit who decided they wanted to make a game out of spite. It started as a joke, but it seems they're taking it seriously.

The music that fits best Homestuck are pseudo-chiptune songs like Sburban Jungle and Skaian Skirmish. Elaborate things sound out of place, and this is what's happening in the latter albums. Barely any of the "new" songs is fitting for an album, because the compositors aren't even thinking in the comic anymore. They just compose something and label it with Homestuck so that they can get the moneys.

I also hated the Beforus trolls for being tumblr stereotypes when they could've been interesting characters. I think Hussie paying attention to the tumblr fandom was a big part of why the comic's quality declined. Can someone tell me what the hell happened to the games budget? I keep hearing that the budget got cut in half or that the odd gentlemen fucked them over or something. I don't know. I tried looking for news about it on the kick starter and the mspa site, and I don't see anything about the budget.

Is she talking about the grist rigs? Because it being made in the most half-assedly possible way, with AR doing it almost as a background activity, was lame as fuck.

I wanted the plot progression and the conversations to happen at the same time, just like it had happened during the first half of the comic. But it seems that at some point Hussie lost the ability to make them both happen at the same time, so we got entire chapters with barely no text and then chapters full of text and conversations but no action whatsoever.
The problem is that he tried to mantain his le epic troll persona and withheld the reunion for so fucking long that it happened right at the end of the comic, so all the interactions that should have happened in the span of the comic are happening all at once.
