Who is your favorite Batman villain /co/?
Personally I love Mr. Freeze and Two-Face

Scarecrow

I would perform unspeakable acts to make sure Johns and Affleck's first standalone Batman film focuses on Mr. Freeze.

Freeze is absolutely made for a movie universe, not comics, because his story has a clear beginning, middle and end and is incredibly cinematic in tone and structure.
>>
Penguin. Bane and Man-Bat are pretty great too.

I like Mr. Freeze but his problem is that you either need to make him a villain only for a single story like DCAU did (which technically makes him perfect for adaptations as already said) or he becomes too generic and you might as well use Killer Frost instead.
>>
>Scarecrow
Eventhough he's terrible in comics. Last good version was The New Batman Adventures
>Riddler
Eventhough he's usually written by writers who hate him. O'Neil for example.

Heart of ice still makes me sad to this day
>>
Killer Croc, but he tends to be handled poorly by writers and artists
He's a cannibalistic mob-boss with a skin condition not the fucking Lizard from Spider-Man!
>>
>>77842817
Fucking this

Most dc writers almost always fuck up croc. Just like how marvel writers fuck up venom
>>
As far as conventional villains go, Two-Face.

My favorite is when Batman goes after the mob though, so if Falcone counts that's my pick. He's nothing more than a regular person, but he has all these insane powerful villains in his pocket just because of his connections, money and the fact that the city fears him. He also creates an interesting dynamic because Batman can't just punch the shit out of him and throw him in Arkham.

1.) Mr. Freeze
2.) Two Face
3.) The Phantasm (tas)
4.) The Joker (endgame only)
Synder portraying him as a Candyman like phantom is everything I ever wanted that character to be.

Charaxes, Reaper, Ras are runners up.

So the two villains they often fuck up?

Joker.

Ice has always been my favorite "element" so Mr.Freeze has to be up there partly because of that, partly because of BTAS

BTAS also has a lot to do with my love of Clayface, I really wish he was well used.

Also The Joker, even if he is overplayed at this point, and not always well
>>
>>77841062
I suppose iteration also needs to be clarified.
>>
>>77844103
Sorry I like my villains to be fucking menacing and have a sense of epic scope to them instead of campy jokes mother fucker!

Always this.

Mr. Freeze has to be the BTAS version for me though. I'm glad most people adopted his motivations being for curing Nora for future appearances but they always try to make it their own and ruin him again. Freeze has to be tragic but so many people still write him as a bland villain yelling MUH WIFE! I guess Arkham City came close.

I also prefer tactical genius Bane over meathead Bane.

Same here. I guess it's because he got some decent character development other than just being an "Anti-Batman" I liked how Damian went to visit him in prison since he had his dad's face or how Tim went corporate and became head of Wayne Enterprises to lock Hush out from taking over. I liked Conroy doing his voice in AC too.

I also feel the same way about Black Mask. I generally like his character even though it's so basic.
>>
Two-Face, especially the way he was done on B:TAS. Nothing like a good tragic villain. I also have soft spots for The Penguin and Ra's al Ghul.
>>
>>77842817

BTAS did him justice, especially TNBA
