Pretty much. He was really great up until the end of Vs. the Future and had some great moments in Weirdmageddon Part I, but now with not knowing about the force field and just throwing a lame party it's pretty sad. People were saying, "I'm glad he sucks now, durrrr edgy fandom Bill BTFO" but no, it's not that he needs to be "edgy," just that the villain has to be a threat up til the end for the story to have stakes, otherwise the narrative suffers.
I wonder if it's just because Bill is so powerful now that he has to act dumb for everybody to beat him, but that's a cop out.
I actually think it's a bit out of character from what we saw before, he spent thirty years planning for this and suddenly he's so goddamn sloppy. He bothered to watch Dipper and lie in wait until the perfect moment in Sock Opera out of the very off chance that Dipper might interfere with the portal being reactivated, which didn't even end up happening anyway. Now, he can't spend two seconds snapping his fingers to separate Dipper's head from his shoulders when it's a given Dipper will try to stop him? Also, in four fucking days, no monsters (not even the really tall ones) notice this tiny bubble over the town? It seems like sloppy writing rather than a genuine character flaw.

Steven Universe's Jail Break was a pretty weak episode without The Return which aired before it during it's 2-parter. I actually enjoyed The Return more.
Blood Moon Ball is probably one of the strongest episodes in Star Vs. The Forces of Evil. Very enjoyable.

The Wander Over Yonder episode is one of my favorites from that show. It was basically two episodes playing simultaneously (the screen was split between Wander and Hater's perspective) and it was done really well.
Star's episode is also one of my favorites, really entertaining with a nice emotional scene at the end.
Steven Universe's episode, while good when paired with its first half, doesn't really do it for me on its own. It might win because of the Ruby + Sapphire scene or Garnet's song though.
Personally, I'd pick NWHS. It truly is the best episode on the list, and of this show.

Sort of. But if it make you feel any better, I think you can assume that Probabiliwhoosit magically bringing the game to life negated the need for all that number crunching. Like, players' moves were automatically consistent with the rolls they made, since the rules of the game were being imposed on everyone involved.
Practically speaking, I think a little hand-waving was necessary. While the gag about the ultra complicated math was funny, trying to show that happening in real time would have been way too awkward to write.
