from what I've heard, the execs are open to someone using Mania on the line-up of a team book, but none of the writers with team books are terribly interested in using her. Personally I think she'd fit in fairly nicely with Ewing's New Avengers.

If I could write a "What If", it'd be Mary Jane having the symbiote given to her by an over-protective Peter. It'd have happened right around when Peter rejected the symbiote, that way it doesn't get corrupted by being jilted.
Imagine what the Mary Jane who wanted to go superheroing with her husband could do with the symbiote. She's a fashion model/designer, it's an instantly transforming wardrobe.
