western anime parodies are almost always bad.
they're written by 30 and 40 somethings that have only seen like dated series like sailor moon and speed racer and judge all anime on that basis. they use the same tired, overused jokes like "hahaha their mouths are big" and "hahaha schoolgirls amirite?" over and over again without any real thought or subtlety.
and its a shame, because theres SO MUCH other goofy shit in anime that is ripe for parody if the person creating it actually knew what they were doing.

The anime of Love Hina was nice but it really wasn't anything like the manga, there was no character growth for like 3/4ths of the series and they completely skipped over Keitaro becoming a badass through work and discipline. It was mostly just filler, like episode of finding out who stole the rent money or the episode where Naru becomes a pop idol for 24 hours. It didn't add anything to the over-arching plot
School Days was cool because it really took apart the genre and though many just hate MANkoto for using girls, you have to understand that if plenty of girls are going to give it up easy, as a teenage boy, there's no way you wouldn't take advantage of that.
