Well, the way people tread droids in general is fucked up.
I mean they have pretty advanced AI, so far that you can talk about selfawareness and the simulate fear and as you say pain.
Sometimes people risk their butts to save certain droids (like R2-D2 or Chopper) and sometimes they are just treated as disposable appliances (like the poor shuttle pilot in the second to last rebels episode for example).
That's really fucking weird is something that always confused me, because I never knew how 'alive' exactly droids are supposed to be.
I mean even the CIS droids had that kind of AI and were killed as comic relief. Pretty fucked up if you think about it.

I've had a few people ask me recently since I recommended it, and no, the comic IS NOT an adaptation of the Kotor 1 video game. It takes place in the same era and has a few cameo appearances that have it interlace a bit with the Kotor story but it is not an adaptation nor is it necessary for you to play the game. Believe it or not, Ahsoka is an extremely important character to the younger generation of fans, and her return was a very big "oh my GOD" moment. It's very much a similar reaction to the kids seeing the Vader reveal for the first time. Very heartwarming to see.

The only Padawan Greivous faced and lived was Ahsoka though, and she won with a combination of luck, and straight up running for her life.
Reminder that he killed at LEAST 4 Jedi before we see him in TCW.
He doesn't get many kills in the show, sure, but it's still heavily implied that he killed many Jedi offscreen.
He just had the misfortune of being paired against Jedi with plot armor 90% of the time, unlike Savage who impressively got to kill a few minor Jedi.

Yeah, this is basically the conclusion I came to as well. From George's point of view the Nemoidians are just a cool alien homage to Ming the Merciless in a movie full of references to Flash Gordon.

A lot of people did. Not your fault, it was a logical jump of conclusion, nobody expected Disney would be so harsh on them with the budget. Doesn't help that the artstyle and general premise of the show is offputting for older fans, even ones who liked TCW.
