Also, movie characters are pretty much invincible and can't really have meaningful character arcs outside of the films, so most stories that feature them end up as filler, even if they are entertaining.

Altogether, quality is all over the place but it's to be expected from a series covering a ~50 year period over 10+ IRL years. The 90s ones aren't as good as the KOTOR ones, but the aesthetics are fucking awesome for the Sith Lords series.
