The continuing plot was done fairly well in Omniverse.
As for your complaints, Ben 10 was always a kids' show meant to bring in merchandise. Don't know why CN would abandon it if it sold so well.
Still salty Omniverse never even had a mention of Generator Rex.

I liked the plot on Omniverse, they went for many different and interesting arcs too.
Shame that part of the art style didnt lived to it. I would like to whatch it on the style of ASGAM and Animei, like pic.
Also, I will never like that girl, the hole thing with the planet omnitrix just sounds stupid.
Many things would be better if they were less kiddie kiddy, but we are not the targeted audience anyway. But the concept is simplu a gold mine for MANY reasons and can work on many formats.

The one on the left carry the classic colors of the character and make it more recognizable.
While the on the right, is a call back to a previous episode and makes sense for the personalitty of the character, also the colour scheme combine with her.
