Well, that's not really true. Marceline is a moody teenager. I like how they referenced it actually. They acknowledged that she acts like a 15 year old and she wanted to stop being a vampire so she could grow up.
It always bothered me that someone who has 1000 years old had so much personal baggage when most people got over shit like that when they became adults.
