Why would Lenny be wearing sunglasses that he can't see out of? Do they even make sunglasses like that? Was he hiding his eyes? Why would he want to do that if the point was that he hiding him listening to a poker tape? How does hiding his eyes hide that? Why did they make this joke when Lenny has been shown to play poker successfully with Homer and the gang before?
