Agreed. Die young wasn't bad because she actually made something fairly long and entertaining, but the animations didn't feel fluid throughout most of it. Lots of movements were too fast or choppy. I commend her for creating something though since I don't have anything to show for myself, but I'm not sure why it exploded the way it did besides bright colors and anthropomorphic animals.

The "rules" are there to give people a rough guideline on how to draw stuff that's consistently good, but it's not a 100% perfect.
It's like ingredients in a recipe. Yes, there is the recipe, and adding stuff that's not in it can ruin it, but sometimes adding more sugar/salt, or pork belly, or cilantro, or fish sauce- even though the recipe didn't ask for it- can result in a good dish.

I'm surprisingly okay with this.
Everything she draws is just floating around. One of the very first BASIC lessons of drawing anything is that there needs to be some weight to it to make your creation believable. It doesn't mean a character needs to look realistic, but even if you have a forty-foot tall pink rhino-bird, you need to give it some weight, otherwise no matter how much sparkle and cutesy color you pour on it, it will be no different from a kindergartener's stick figure.
I don't think this girl has any idea what she's really doing, as is also evident by the general shapes of the characters being so inconsistent it's hard to look at. It's like a little kid who has gotten really, really into her OC and now refuse to do things differently by referring to artistic mistakes as "my style". Fix the character's limbs (and especially feet) for a start, you can't just cover up sharp angles in soft curves and decide that anatomy is something that only happens to other people.

While the eyes/light things are legitimate to complain about, spider-chick's pose isn't really a problem unless she's supposed to hold it. If it's a temporary thing, she could be rocking back on her heels while also bending her torso forwards and bringing her shoulders back. It feels unnatural, but try it.
The 'hair/ear/whatever' thing could be antennae, I'd be more concerned with the mouth than the eyeball but both are legitimate complaints if you're striving for realism. The eyebrow's fucked though, unless it's a muscled hair.
I think the light source issue is that they were drawn separately and then compiled onto the same page, but I can't verify that at all.

Really, it seems like she loves caricature, where it's more about the momentary vibe you get than the ability to stand under scrutiny. I like her style because it's fun and fluid, but there is room for improvement.

The lights are coming from the top center, but they are still fucked up, everything else is a stylistic choice to make a dynamic and fluid style, if you want to compare it with a realistic style then yes, everything is wrong, but for a cartoonish style is passable, her goal is an exaggerate, dynamic and expresive style, wich she achieve sacrificing body proportions. Okay, so the animation is choppy, but it's a single-person effort.
Pretty sure the gap she places her head in isn't one her head can actually fit in; it looks like her head just gets morphed into a weird sort of thing to animate it slipping in and out.
Viv has a pathological fear of drawing legs. There are two multiple-second lengths where Jiji's(the blue wolf) legs are not drawn when they should be. She even animates another animal going into the area Jiji's legs should occupy, but during no point in her animation did she think maybe she should draw the legs, even if they aren't moving. You do notice it; it isn't a single-frame slipup.
Not a bad thing, but the posterior view of Jiji dancing away from the viewer seems oddly animated, like it had a reference the rest of the animation didn't.
