I just finished watching this. What does /co/ think of it? I thought it was pretty good. It didnt drag out the story, and gave good closure.
Gregory was extremely annoying and a useless piece of shit. The show would've been better off if they made him more aware of basically everything instead of making him an idiotic autist that drags Wirt and Beatrice into worse and worse strife.
I ain't sayin' she a gold digger
But she ain't messin' with no broke animator

I understand that he's supposed to be counterbalance to Wirt's pessimism, but does embodiment of optimism always need to be a blundering retard?

Greg is over compensating his cheerful optimism to cover the crushing guilt he feels about being a stealer.

Music was excellent, character writing was proficient, art design created a believable world. Competently executed in pretty much every way, which is probably the reason that nobody bothers to talk about it.
CN re-uploaded "Tome of the Unknown" in 1080p to their YouTube account, as well as without the "CN" logo in the corner. Previously it was only available in 720p and with a CN logo watermarked throughout.
Thought you guys would like to know.

I do like to know. Thank you.
There's weird interlacing for me at 1080p though. I don't know if that's because of CN or YouTube or what. It doesn't seem to be a problem in the lower resolutions.

>and gave good closure.
>An "It was all a dream" ending
>>77755152
It might be inherent in the video itself.
But it's better than nothing.

I looked into it more. It seems like it's telecined to get it to 29.97 fps. The difference is that at 720p the interpolated frames are faded together and at 1080p the interpolated frames are interlaced together. The latter is far more noticeable and annoying. I'm guessing there's a nice way to detelecine it, but I don't really know what I'm doing.

I forgot to include the pic.
>>77755254
More like a Phantom Tollbooth ending. The boys understood what they had experienced, learned from it, and took away from it to be better and braver individuals. It also resolved many internal turmoil that both character suffered, though Greg was a blithering retard throughout it all.
>>77755254
It wasn't a dream though, the frog still had the bell in its stomach. They basically marched through purgatory.
>>77755254
Nothing about it was a dream. The Unknown exists and will continue to exist without Wirt and Gregory. It's a stop for those between life and death. You can get out if you try hard and have faith, you can stay there for an indefinite amount of time or if you give up hope you go off in to death with the Beast.

>he thinks it was all a dream
Confirms for not even watching the show.
