Why does this comic get threads? It's so bad. Art is bad, panel composition is bad, backgrounds are amateurish, story is non-existent, and there are more characters than Viv knows what to do with them. Also she's a drama whore and really shitty animator who hates taking criticism and honestly believes her style is "unique", which is why she refuses to change it up.

The character designs are interesting and they are well withing webcomic standards, it might not be blacksad/lackadaisy tier but it's pretty good. Not sure what you are on about with the panels, aren't they up to the artist discretion? or is there some panel composition that must be followed? not an artist so I would not know.
I'll give you the panels, they are not good for the most part but I can do without huge detail in them if it means timely updates. I'm sure one of the reason lacka takes so long to update is because of the backgrounds.

There are a TON of characters that's true. but so far we haven't seen any indication withing the comic or outside of it that she doesn't have at least SOME idea of what to do with said characters

It's subjective. despite it's flaws some people will like it and some will not. some people are attracted to the art style, some to the characters themselves, some are interested in the story and some just want lewds.
