Time for Dark Empire's sequel. Was it really necessary for it to exist? Let's find out!

I love these comics. Empire's End was shit though, but 1 & 2 were awesome.

I didn't like II as much the first one, but they're solid comics.
Thanks for the story time!
>>77733698
No problem, anon.At least we didn't get a porn-spamming shitter this time.
Is this the one where Palpatine goes full Viggo The Carpathian on Han's kid?
>>77733831
That's Empire's End, the next one.
>>77733888
Ah okay, thank you mr trips.
One thing I never really got with the expanded universe is that I get the impression from the original trilogy that there were only a few Jedi left in the whole galaxy. But in the EU both before and after Luke defeats the Emperor in Return there's a gazillion Jedi and Dark Jedi running around everywhere. I get not every Jedi died in Order 66 but it gets a bit ridiculous. It cheapens the idea of Luke being one of the last Jedi if there's like a dozen other Jedi hiding behind dustbins or whatever. The EU was a bit shit sometimes, I don't miss it t.b.h.

Eh, it could be a bit of a mixed bag I suppose but I still like it.
>>77734000
so that's boba fett's original backstory? He was just a normal stormtrooper who went rogue?that's so badass and cool
>>77734247
It's interesting to see the stuff they came up with.
>>77734297
love how they tease his face as well, back when that actually meant something. Star wars still was one large mystery then, nowaddays it sort of devolved into plugging up tiny continuity holes.
DIsney had the right idea with bombing the canon, but as long as they keep the prequels and the clone wars it doesn't really have the full effect.
>>77733559
Why was Empire's End so shit? It felt rushed like fuck and so out of whack compared to this and the original.
>>77734957
It was much shorter too. Weird way to end the trilogy.
>>77735008
Yeah. I wonder what the larger story about it was.
>>77735442
dark jedi is an actual term? I always thought it was just something fanboys came up with
>>77735475
Yeah, it's popped up here and there. I first heard it in Jedi Knight.
>>77733194
It might be good this isn't canon anymore. Or if it deserves to be, somebody should have told Luke how much of a tool he was being.
Although really, more the author, for derailing the character in an egregious fashion. The entire point of Luke is that he is absolutely NOT the kind of Jedi who would do that. He would die before that happened, and is every inch the same kind of Jedi as his mentors, Obi-Wan and Yoda.
>>77735475
Basically anyone who isn't a proper Sith and uses the Dark Side of the Force is called a Dark Jedi.
>>77735893
To keep things in perspective, this and Dark Empire I were written by the same guy who wrote Superman at Earth's End.
>>77736688
Really? I had no idea haha
>>77736777
Tom Veitch is generally known for Superman: At Earth's End, Dark Empire, and a short run on Animal Man, and some creator-owned stuff ( The Light and Darkness War, and some other stuff) I think.
His brother Rick Veitch is far more well-known (Rick worked with Alan Moore on a lot of stuff, like Swamp Thing, 1963, Supreme, Greyshirt, and others; Rick also did creator-owned stuff like Abraxas and the Earthman, Maximortal, The One, and more).
>>77736883
Oh yeah, I've heard of Rick, not so much Tom. Interesting to know.

I miss the Dark Horse SW days. Before the dark times, before the Marvel empire.
>>77737139
Eh, could be worse.
>>77733550
Holy shit, Disney straight out of nowhere
That was Dark Empire II, I hope you guys enjoyed it. Next up: the conclusion!
