Weiss, put nicely, clearly has a lot of self-respect, and she doesn't want to let the family name down.
It's very likely then, that she will respond positively to negative reinforcement.
And again, her sister has probably trained her before, and they're on very good terms.
Why are you doing all this guesswork if we actually know that Weiss loves her sister?

Actually, yes. A lot of abuse victims still love their abuser, and they stay around to continue being abused. And there are plenty of studies on the effects of negative reinforcement and how it by and large does not work. Even on, as you say "competitive" people. They're motivated by winning, and wanting to be better, which is a positive stimulus, not because people told them they're not doing good enough. Just because it happened to work for you doesn't mean it works for most people.

The types of people I've mentioned, their reward is that they showed the person fucking with them that they were wrong, and that they've proved themselves capable.

Again, this is baseless conjecture. Weiss comes from a strict family, and has a lot to prove.
Types of training that push you to prove yourself and show that you're more than just your family name (In Weiss' case anyway) will work well.

You can keep saying this as much as you want, but it doesn't add anything to the conversation since we're talking about an individual.
And again, positive reinforcement is healthier and more viable in the long term.
For people who respond well to positive reinforcement, which happens to be a bigger group than those that respond negatively to positive reinforcement.
But we're talking about an individual, so those amounts don't matter.
Not to mention that the environment Weiss came from is one that typically produces people who respond well to negative reinforcement (which doesn't matter since we're talking about one person).
But you're talking about "people in general" which ignores their personalities, the environments they came from, the situation they're in etc etc.

I never said it works for most people. You guys have said that about positive reinforcement though.
Which, again, is absolutely not relevant in a conversation about an individual.
And of course there's some positive stimulus involved. It's 100% impossible to get motivated when there's only a negative stimulus involved.
People who respond well to it are people who turn the negative stimulus into a positive stimulus when they've succeeded.
Turn the "you're a failure and you suck" into a "I showed you".
