It's good because it was meant to be the last but became a reinvigornation for Power rangers. It was basically just "okay we need to make another power rangers to retain the rights" so they just handed it to some studio in new zealand.

And then said studio was like "Well if we're getting cancelled then fuck it let's just burn it all down" so they strayed as far away from the source as possible, spent a ton of episodes talking about how dumb some of the tropes in Power Rangers was, and then decided they would just use the show as a piggyback to tell their own story with their original character (the Mentor) which ended up being one of the best plots in all of PR.
For real, it seems like the best PR seasons happen when they think they are going to get cancelled so they stop giving a fuck and salt the earth. Last time thast happened was In Space and that is one of the GOAT.
