But considering the network it's on, the other programming on that said network, and how it has to stack up to said programming, it's a mother fucking masterpiece.

It's well crafted. Artwork, writing, voice acting and music all flow very nicely with each other. It's one of those shows where you can see somebody actually sat down and tought what they're trying to do, and how to make every element click. Sure, it's not as good as some other shows, it's much more toned down and calm, but that makes every element of it much easier to control.

It's a lighthearted cartoon that branched off to go back to the roots of cartoons when they were just simple adventures and fun.
To me this means a lot because we have to many cartoons this day and age try to hard to push an agenda. Might not be for anyone but certainly brings back fond memories of my childhood

They have a fun setup with good art and a wide cast of secondary characters while stilling having great primaries.
I think what helps it most is the experienced show lead. He knows exactly what he wants it to be. I found it interesting one of the things we learned from the HBanon who visits here from time to time, how Harvey and the twins aren't supposed to fight. It dodges shit you see in stuff like Regular Show where they use that as a premise so often (even for their fuckin movie) that you really wonder how they're still friends.
