Im not against the korrasami canon ship.. but if I could re-write the Korra series, she'd either end up with no one or bolin. There was just more potential chemistry between the two.

I'm not against Korrasami in principle, but the show just never made it seem like it could or would work.
Bolin and Korra were great the first couple of episodes until the writers didn't want it. So yeah Borra or no-one would have been preferable.

I didnt dislike korra and asami together, I just dislike how it was executed. I like a bit of subtlety in my romance stories but it was far too subtle there was really no build up to it and really not even good confirmation that was their intention in the actual series. If they wanted to do it, they should have just fuck'n done it and had them kiss at the end, even if it wasnt like some crazy make out session.

yeah, that was really my biggest issue.
I can see where the time was spent during korras rehabilitation after season 3, the two of them likely spent a lot of personal time together however none of it was ever on screen.
I hope the comics go into a bit more. If I recall correctly the comics are supposed to take place after the korra series so I really hope that at some point they do some flash backs during that time after season 3 but before korra took off. I really would like to see how that relationship developed.

The comics are too late for me. But honestly i think all the Korrasami stuff is going to be flashbacks and them talking about those flashbacks.
But i just can't see those characters being in a relationship ever. It's just too far off how they were portrayed and how they act towards people so it just leaves me angry desu.

The Carol Corp is intensely and hypocritically racist, though (see: Any mention of Monica Rambeau to them). I imagine this would cause a similar backlash. They're going to hate it for not being written by KSD, so you might as well stoke the fire.
(If you ask me, at least half of KSD's run is pretty good, though the series does suffer significantly from an eagerness to please that is prevalent through all her work. I'm looking forward to her collaboration with Bill Sienkiewicz because his art makes that sort of thing impossible).

It only existed for five seconds at the end, and was just a last ditch effort to make their show relevant. Before korrasami, Korra was being shit on by everyone. Now it's being hailed as a masterpiece of LGBT representation, even though there isn't any in the actual show. It didn't hurt that they pretty much fulfilled tumblr's every desire (which was to say they'd always planned korrasami and they were always right, even though they were creaming themselves over mako/korra in the season one commentary)
