I think it helps he usually focuses on minor characters (he especially loves Fethry) and that his style is pretty distinct, while a lot of the other Italian artists all use very similar art styles.
Also, this seems to be the same girl as before, she's apparently a "hip teenager" character from the 60s later retooled into a journalist.
