Literally every other villain in the show is better than her current personality. They NEED to give her fucking *SOMETHING* to make her interesting at all. Not only that, but she makes Wander act like an unbearable shipping fag and, while Lord Hater acting stupid can be funny, it's annoying that he just completely forgets the whole "I WILL DEFEAT DOMINATOR AND BE THE BEST AGAIN" thing. At the very least, he could've had some sort of conflict between loving dominator and wanting to be the best, but they even ignored THAT potential interesting plot point.

It's not even Dominator that I hate, but everybody's reactions to her. Back in The Greater Hater we finally had a foe that introduced new dynamics; Wander couldn't get through to her, and she pushed Hater to rage-fueled competence and badassery the likes of which we've never seen. But by the end of the very next episode she was in, we get the "LADY" reveal, making Wander stop taking her seriously and rendering Hater into yet another drooling stupor. We finally got a peek at different sides of the main characters, and we couldn't even delve into that before Battle Royale's ending shat on everything.

I was also hoping the reveal of her gender would be more exciting. She is a good plot device not really a full character. She probably won't be very developed and will be defined by her relation to the protagonist and the antagonist.
She is meant to teach Wander that he can't force love or make those sort of decisions for someone else and to make Hater look stupid, which is what has driven much of the comedy since the beginning.
I think she works well. Just another way to make Hater more endearing.

She does get some characterization. She is cast in the world of a competent threat and a seductress. This fits her role as antagonist and love interest to Hater. She is still second in plot-relevance to Hater, if not in power.

Given how people get so invested in OTPs, I'd say it has value as a lesson. Plus, this is meant for children who still have immature notions of love. Again, she was more interesting when she was impervious to Wander and incited Hater's actually-competent rage. That brought out sides of those characters that we hadn't really been exposed to before. We'd hardly (if ever) seen Wander ready to truly give up on someone, or Hater putting up his own in a fight without being immediately undercut for the sake of a joke. For once, Wander was allowed to lose, and Hater was allowed to win. But we couldn't even keep that dynamic through Dominator's second episode before "LADYYY" trumped all of that and turned it back into Wander's positive stupidity and Hater's failure to be cool around women.
