From punching steel to One Punch Man level, where should Danny Rand's power fall under?
Assuming they take a grittier approach like Daredevil and Jessica Jones, I'm assuming it'll just be something that can punch through... well, iron.
I foresee it being like Arrow, with parts where he's busting up crime in NYC and flashbacks to his training and origin in K'un-lun.

Probably last resort/special move type thing. Otherwise, he would be overpowered (especially for street-level MCU) if he could just punch people out all the time.

Better fighter than DD, Should be able to give cap a run for his money like Bucky did while not using chi. Chi fist should be able to hurt luke. No big chi explosions or train stopping punches like in Immortal. Less plot armor than cap so a group of guys should be able to almost or actually beat him when he doesn't use chi.

Honestly, his show is what I'm most excited for. I loved DD and now and loving JJ. But Iron Fist is one of my favorate heroes, and I really think they would show as true representation of the character in screen. Except costume of course.
It would look way to much like DDs first costume so they won't risk that. Unless when he first puts on the suit, DD says something like
